Best Restaurants in Surfside Beach

One of the benefits of renting a beach house versus staying at a hotel is that you truly get to feel like you live at the beach! However, we know that part of the fun of traveling to a new location is to try out some new restaurants and let someone else do the cooking (and washing the dishes!) so you have more time to relax.

Here are some of our favorite restaurants in and around Surfside Beach:

Pickled Cucumber

Great Southern-style casual dining with a friendly, attentive staff! We highly recommend the fried chicken and mac and cheese.

Sara J’s

A local gem in Garden City known for great views and delicious seafood! We recommend the hush puppies and the shrimp.

Surf Diner

Casual dining for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in Surfside Beach. It offers gorgeous views of the beach and their fish tacos are so tasty!

Bubba’s Fish Shack

A no-frills, Southern seafood joint in Surfside Beach. If you like oysters, you should definitely try them from Bubba’s.

Ultimate California Pizza

For when you’re not in the mood for seafood, UCP features over 70 toppings to choose from! Our favorite pie? The Big Kahuna, built to share!

Hot Fish Club

Known for their gazebo bar, live music, and fresh seafood, HFC is a must-try in Murrells Inlet. We recommend the lobster pot pie.

Dagwood’s

Dagwood’s deli in Surfside Beach is a delicious sports bar known for its giant sandwiches and juicy burgers. We recommend the soft pretzels and the scrumptious Dagwood burger!
