Cooking at the beach!

While Myrtle Beach does have its fair share of delicious restaurants, sometimes nothing is better than a home-cooked meal after spending the day in the sun. Surfside Realty has many houses perfect for the chef of the family. Crown Jewel is a particular favorite, with its large, open kitchen and tons of counter space. The oceanfront dining room completes a perfect backdrop for any family meal. Enjoy your dessert poolside or on the covered porch overlooking the beach. If you want to experience a truly southern meal, try your hand at making a Lowcountry Boil with fresh corn, shrimp, sausage, and potatoes. There’s no better house for a classic oyster roast than Manatee Mansion. The large kitchen inside is complimented by a gas grille and tiki bar adjacent to the private pool. Grab a shucker and enjoy grilled oysters poolside. There’s plenty of outdoor seating for your family and friends, or you can enjoy the view from two of the large front porches. Not sure where to buy ingredients? The Waccamaw Market Cooperative provides Farmer’s Markets around town through the end of October. Grab snacks from a variety of vendors while you stock up on fresh produce from local farms. Artisans will be selling their unique crafts, so it’s also a perfect place to pick up a souvenir from your trip.
